OLIO EXTRAVERGINE D'OLIVA
It is a mixture of Leccino, Dritta, Frantoio, Tortiglione olives and Spanish varieties (Arbequina and Arbosana) the latter two grown in an intensive way.
The olive groves a re exposed to the east in the area of Morro d’Oro and Notaresco in the province of Teramo at an average altitude of 250 meters. s.l.m. The soil is slightly alkaline calcareous-clay.
The olives are harvested mechanically during the first half of October.
The fruit is always washed and worked within a few hours to aim for a high quality oil.
The olive pressing is done with a modern two-stage cold extraction syste m.
At the sight it is limpid, green color with slight gold tinge. The bouquet is fru ity, well balance, characterized by herbal hints. The taste is elegant, light bitter and spicy, harmonic and moderate. It is characterized by high values of phenolic substances.
Ideal pairing with legume soups, vegetable soups, barbecued meat, grilled fish,fish appetizers and seafood.
